We've added a chrome zip to the back of the neck to the top of the head for easy fitting, comfort, and to ensure a tight fit. We added kiss appliqués in a scarlet colourway, but they're the only forehead kisses you'll be getting. The devils in the details, which is why we used wide-set eye holes and a wide-set mouth hole to accommodate for a beard and a big mouth. Why has my rubber arrived covered in powder?


Your rubber items will arrive with an overall matte finish as they are coated in talcum powder. This is used as an anti-stick agent to prevent the garment from sticking to itself and the packaging. This can easy be removed by following our cleaning instructions below.

How do I clean my rubber items?


We recommend that all rubber items are washed by hand. Dilute a mild detergent such as dish soap with clean luke-warm water and submerge the product. Gently clean the surface, avoiding any harsh scrubbing. Rinse the product thoroughly ensuring all residue has been removed.


Avoid any harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products as they will damage the rubber.


For any items that have hardware present such as zips or buckles, avoid submerging fully in water as this may encourage the rusting of these components. You can use a wet cloth to carefully remove any dirt.

How do I get into my rubber?


Avoid using excessive force when getting into any rubber items as this can warp the overall shape of the garment. Position the garment carefully, making sure the seams are properly aligned. Slowly roll and smooth the material into place using gentle, even pressure. We highly recommend using a dressing aid to help this process. You can purchase Vividress on our website.

How do I dry my rubber items after cleaning?


Rubber items must only be air-dried, please do not use a heat source or direct sunlight to speed up the drying process. We recommend hanging the garments in a well-ventilated area. It is important to ensure that the rubber is completely dried out before returning It to storage as this can lead to mould and mildew forming over time.


How do I store my rubber items?


Rubber must be stored in a cool, dry place, away from any direct sunlight. Do not store your rubber in a damp or humid environment as this can cause mould and mildew to form. We recommend dusting with talcum or protection powder to avoid sticking. This will also prevent the rubber from becoming brittle over time. Try to store your rubber items flat or on a hanger as to not encourage creasing along fold lines.

How do I shine my rubber items?


Avoid any oil-based products such as baby oil as this will degrade the quality of the rubber with use.


Use a water or silicone-based lubricant to shine your rubber. We recommend Vivishine paired with a Viviwipe which are also available on our website. For an easy application, we also stock Vivishine Spray.

Apply Vivishine products directly onto clean rubber and optionally polish with Viviwipe.

Alternatively, for a deep shine, dilute Vivishine into clean water following dilution instructions provided on bottle. Carefully, move the rubber around in the solution ensuring all surfaces are coated and leave to air dry for a perfect shine.

What if my rubber gets damaged?

Rubber is a versatile material but is susceptible to punctures by sharp objects. Be mindful of your surroundings when wearing rubber ensuring you avoid any sharp objects or things that could snag the material. If you do damage your rubber, use a patch kit or seek professional repairs. Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer an in-house repair service.

Brittle rubber, rips or loss of elasticity can be a sign of improper care. By following our care guide and using recommended products your rubber will last for many years.

RETURNS

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@strappmetal.com. Return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer, we do not offer free returns (with the exception of one-time underwear size exchanges for first-time customers).

Once return is accepted we will instruct you on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please do not send returns to our business address unless instructed. If your country of residence is not United Kingdom, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

If returning an item from outside the UK, you must clearly mark the parcel as "Returned Goods" to avoid customs charges. Any duties or fees incurred due to incorrect labeling will be deducted from your refund.

No returns on intimate items (such as underwear or jocks) that have been opened, worn, or had hygiene seals/tamper-proof packaging removed. Sealed/unopened intimate items may be returned if they meet the standard return criteria.

One free underwear size exchange is available for first-time customers only. This applies only to first-time underwear purchases and is limited to one exchange per customer, household, or shipping address. Exchanges are available internationally. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing after your returned item is received.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

EUROPEAN UNION 3 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD

Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 3 days for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  • All International orders are sent International Tracked
  • Orders are processed Monday - Friday
  • All orders placed over a bank holiday or weekend will be processed and dispatched on the following working day
  • Once orders have been completed, we are unable to amend any items or cancel orders
  • Please ensure all delivery addresses and instructions are entered correctly
  • Please be advised due to brexit, international customers may be charged by their customs and borders law to pay vat and/or customs fees. this will depend on the customers country.
